Psychological Assessment

Psychological assessment with licensed instruments, a written report and a feedback session — for children, adolescents, adults and teams. A clear profile, in data rather than impressions: what works, what is holding you back and what comes next.

When a psychological assessment makes sense

  • For children (3–12 years) — developmental delays, attention difficulties, adjusting to nursery or school, emotional regulation, readiness for the first year of school.
  • For adolescents (12–19 years) — anxiety, falling school motivation, conflict, self-esteem, career guidance before choosing a secondary school or university.
  • For adults — clarifying a diagnosis, personality profile, stress and resilience, career decisions, files requiring a psychological opinion.
  • For companies — selection and promotion, leadership profile, team dynamics, prevention of burnout and conflict.

What you receive, in concrete terms

  • A clarification interview — together we define the question the assessment has to answer.
  • Testing with licensed instruments, chosen for your situation — not questionnaires downloaded from the internet.
  • A written report, drawn up by an autonomous clinical psychologist: results, interpretation and recommendations in language you can understand.
  • A feedback session — I explain in person what the results mean and what the next steps are.
  • Full confidentiality, in line with the code of ethics of the psychology profession.

Fees

The fee depends on the number of instruments needed. The battery is decided at the clarification interview, according to your question — you do not pay for extra tests.

How it works

1. The initial conversation (by phone or video) — you tell me what concerns you, and I tell you whether an assessment is appropriate and what it would involve. 2. The testing itself — at the practice in Corbeanca; it takes between 60 minutes and a few hours, depending on the battery. 3. The report and feedback session — within 5–7 working days you receive the written report and we meet for explanations and recommendations.

What I assess — by category

Why work with me

I am an autonomous clinical psychologist and an integrative psychotherapist, licensed by the Romanian College of Psychologists (COPSI) — I can administer, score and interpret psychological tests and formulate diagnostic hypotheses, which means the assessment does not stop at a score but arrives at a clinical understanding. I work only with licensed instruments and, if the results call for it, we can continue together in psychotherapy or in neurofeedback training. Consultations can be held in Romanian, English or French.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an assessment take?

Between 60 minutes (a single-instrument assessment) and 3–4 hours, split across two meetings, for a comprehensive assessment. With young children we work in short bursts, adapted to their pace.

Do I receive an official document?

Yes. The psychological report is signed and stamped by an autonomous clinical psychologist licensed by COPSI, and it can be used with the school, the treating doctor or the employer, within the limits of confidentiality that we agree together.

How is this different from free tests on the internet?

Licensed instruments have norms for the Romanian population and scientifically verified validity and reliability, and the interpretation is made by a professional who relates the scores to your history. A free test gives you a label; an assessment gives you a direction.

My child is frightened of tests. How does it work for them?

For children, the assessment takes the form of games and activities. There are no marks and no wrong answers, and the parent knows at every moment what comes next.

Can I have only the feedback session, if I already have tests done elsewhere?

Yes, if the reports are recent and complete. We discuss this at the initial interview and I tell you honestly whether retesting is needed.

The importance of assessing accentuated personality dimensions

In contemporary research in applied psychology, characterising personality structure is an essential element in optimising selection processes and organisational management. Identifying employees’ accentuated personality dimensions not only allows individual and collective performance to be maximised, but also contributes decisively to preventing conflict within and between groups.

The Accentuated Dimensions Inventory (D.A.) stands out as a rigorously grounded psychometric instrument, able to assess 12 relevant dimensions of personality and thus to offer a nuanced approach to recruitment, selection and organisational psychological counselling.

Theoretical foundations and dimensions assessed

The theoretical model underlying the D.A. Inventory derives from Karl Leonhard’s conceptualisation of accentuated traits. It measures characteristics such as demonstrativeness, hyper-exactness, hyperthymia, anxiety, emotivity and neuroticism. These traits can act either as facilitators of professional adaptation or as vulnerability factors in an organisational context. From this perspective, the applicability of the D.A. Inventory goes beyond standardised psychological assessment, playing an essential role in integrating employees into specific working environments and in minimising the dysfunctional impact of certain accentuated predispositions.

The value of applying the D.A. Inventory in organisations

A distinctive feature of this psychodiagnostic instrument is its capacity to provide a detailed analysis of individual strengths and vulnerabilities in relation to the requirements of the role. Its use within human-resources processes allows potential difficulties of adaptation to be identified early, thus optimising leadership and team-management strategies. Once integrated into the organisational architecture, these data help ensure optimal synergy between team members and reduce the incidence of role conflict.

In the corporate environment, using this instrument in selection processes and periodic staff reviews allows better prediction of an employee’s fit with the specific role and the organisational culture. Identifying accentuated traits makes it possible to put in place proactive adjustments to the requirements of the role, thereby preventing difficulties of professional integration. At the same time, analysing accentuated dimensions gives organisational leaders scientific support in optimising team dynamics and managing professional relationships effectively.

Psychometric reliability and validity

The reliability and validity of the D.A. Inventory are supported by extensive psychometric studies, showing internal consistency superior to that of other similar instruments. Moreover, the inclusion of three control scales allows potential systematic response biases to be detected, reducing the risk of distorted results. The normed scoring system ensures a clear distinction between tendencies considered normative and those that may have implications for professional and social functioning. This methodological approach gives the D.A. Inventory wide applicability, not only in organisational psychology but also in clinical psychology, supporting targeted psychotherapeutic interventions.

The benefits of assessment for individuals

For individuals, this inventory is an instrument of advanced self-knowledge, supporting awareness of one’s own behavioural predispositions and the identification of effective strategies for personal optimisation. The results of the D.A. Inventory offer a useful interpretative framework for setting personal and professional development goals, and integrating this information into psychological counselling allows coping strategies to be adjusted and interpersonal interactions improved. In this way a person can gain greater autonomy in managing emotions and put in place effective measures for improving quality of life.

Inventory, giving both companies and individuals the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of personality structure.
